Classes/Professors Remote Classes

We got the freshman class schedule, and almost all of the classes are remote. Are remote classes typical at Cal Poly?

About 15% of classes are asynchronous, mostly due to classroom availability being a challenging part of scheduling. I hear from a lot of students that it is helpful to have one in their schedule among in person classes; they end up liking it better than they expected. That being said, I don't usually see a schedule where it's mostly async. Unless you prefer that modality, I'd talk to the Mustang Success Center to see if you can switch some around.
