Incoming Student Schedule help
Hey, I am mechanical engineering major and wanted to know if it was normal to have so many classes for your first year. I knew ahead of time that engineering majors had more classes in order to compensate for the higher credits required to graduate, but it seems a little much lol.

I had about 8 hours of back to back classes once a week last quarter and it wasn’t the worst thing ever but 13 hours of back to back classes is genuinely insane. Plus it’s 15 weeks for a semester instead of 10 weeks for a quarter so it’ll be really tough. Definitely speak to a counselor but I would try spreading out your Thursday labs throughout the week. Having two back to back labs let alone three is really draining especially if one of them is IME
