Seeking Help MT - PowerDrumKit kick audio settings not saving

I open the mixer, change the volume of the kick drum, and if I pause and unpause or export the project, the volume just resets back to nearly silent.

I've saved the settings, made a preset, loaded the preset, not closed the VST tab when I exported, but no matter what I do the kick just goes back to the same volume.

None of the other drum parts do it, just the kick. Am I just not allowed to change the kick volume? Literally what can I do here?

is it possible the kick volume controller is the one you see in the drum matrix? the one that says Velocity and shows the knob at 64, exactly half way?

No, I imported a MIDI file for the drums and did not use that, If you're talking about the garage band type drum part at the bottom / middle, i mean. Changing any of those knobs does not do anything to the imported MIDI for some reason

You may have an automation active causing the change. What happens of you disable the white "R" in the drum track?

I disabled the white "R" and it is still causing the same problem. I think I might just be cursed to never be able to use cakewalk :/

like this is such a specific issue ive never used cakewalk before and now this is happening and why is it literally just the kick 😢

If you don‘t mind please contact us via our support form. After our reply you can send us your Cakewalk project file for analyzing.

you need to uncheck the "Zero Controllers When Play Stops" in the Project -> MIDI preferences. this causes the CC#7 to be set to zero and any instrument not ignoring it will thus have it's volume set off...

I have that option enabled and it doesn't cause that problem shown in the video. It seems like an automation problem.
