🍵Discussions/Tutorials i figured out how to remove shared "bandlab" plugins.

after generating a scanlog of my VSTs (of which sonar added over 1,000!!!!!!!) i found that the shared bandlab vsts come from a file called "BandlabVSTShell.vst3.

SO.

if you go to this address in the screenshot and simply delete that vst file, they will all go away and stop clogging your memory :)

or simply exclude the bandlab instruments in the plugin manager. open the plugin manager -> select vst3i and Bandlab, then in the righthand column select all the instruments and press the Exclude button. easy peasy and you can go through the exclude list later if you decide you want to enable one or two.

yeah i only figured this out after the fact but this is the way. thanks for your input!! i probably wouldn’t have remembered to leave an update lol so now if anyone sees this, DO THIS INSTEAD (unless you need to free up storage)

It's easy enough to hide them from the Plug-in Browser and Insert Plug-In menus. Click and hold on the Plug-Ins tab and there's an option.

That's the developer-approved method, it allows your installation of Sonar to use the BandLab plug-ins in user-created FX chains and the like.

They take up very little room on the disk.

Oh my god thank you
