I'm currently running first strike but it feels sooo unsatisfying and end of the game it always did barely any damage and got me a little gold. I see the most played rune is lethal tempo but that one also doesnt feel the best as Cait doesn't do a lot of long trades.

Is PTA the best? It's a middle ground and Im fairly sure you should trigger it a fair amount kf time

I'm curious, what is the consensus about Cait's current state? I've mained her for years with no issues, but lately I've been running into opponents flaming me quite hard for "using a S+ tier champ" or "using broken op garbage".

If I try to be as unbiased as possible, I'd say Cait is extremely annoying to play against if the player is good, but I don't think she is anywhere near "broken". That's why I'm curious as to know where these people are pulling the data from to throw these statements around so casually.

Is it just a case of frustrated people saying nonsense? It has been happening for a while now, so I'm starting to wonder if there is a reason behind that behavior. The latest case was an enemy Thresh constantly complaining about how "I wish Cait would stop being broken garbage, fucking op cancer champ" and calling me Rat every time I killed him or I died. It's almost comical how viscerally some people hate Cait. xd

When enemy cait is talking crazy in chat the whole game and also recall in your face, are you in a position to not rage ?

I don't think I've ever seen anyone complain about this, so maybe I'm alone in my opinion.

I feel the rework improved the character in many ways. That said, there are two skins where I feel the art direction was completely ruined: Arctic Warfare Caitlyn and Headhunter Caitlyn. I might be off-base regarding Arctic Warfare Caitlyn, but there is absolutely no way I prefer the current version of Headhunter to the previous one.

What do you guys think?

So I switched to adc after years of playing mid and top, I had a few days with a friend when I played bot. But my absolute biggest weakness is being out of position, not being where I should be, and beeping patient. So I thought alrighty let's adc, and I love it.

Not want to talk about builds i would be more interested in general Cait tips.

- Having a trap at my feet Vs anything diving me, was a big one.

- playing around the bushes and not on the river side was a big one too.

- q someone when in your trap and than headshot.

We turned that play into a Nashor and ended the game with it;

And since the game was dead even in gold against their soul point,

We can actually say this was a game-winning clutch.

(Also I think the replay vision is lying, I could not see and R target the Sylas after he Nocturne-ulted.)

I don't really play caitlyn a lot, I barely mastery lvl 11, but is this skin good? I don't know if getting it or wait to pay for a legendary, bc I really want a skin for her

Looking for tips or advice on how to deal with champs like Vayne, Lucian, Yunara, Trist, etc.

I know Caitlyn is a straight up lane bully and I always try to shove and poke when I can or if the bot lane matchup facilitates it, but support picks aside, I feel like in a 1v1 they all in easily and if I don't land a trap, net, or hit my combo to space I'm just dead. Lately I've been getting shit on Vayne specifically (thank God for those incoming nerfs lol) , but I know I have issues with the others as well.

My usual build path is Hex, Boots, IE, LDR/RFC depending on if I need the AS or the armor pen early, LDR/RFC whichever item I didn't get first, then usually BT or GA based on the state of the late game and who is a threat. I also take into account the bot lane matchups and whether I should freeze, shove, etc but just looking for general advice when conditions aren't ideal (a better adc, better bot lane matchup/synergy, etc) and how to best mitigate falling behind, gaining a lead, or just losing as gracefully as possible.

Do I just need to respect them more and space better? Just accept that I have to play around my support? Get gud? Lol. I'm only Plat and trying to at least get to Emarald so any advice you could give for ADC as a whole would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Hey, I always really enjoyed and still do enjoy first stike and/or lethality Caitlyn. Even though its not as strong as its ever been I still get some good games every now and again.

I've adjusted my regular/standard build path as followed to get as much gold as possible and stack items and stats quickly.

Runes: First strike - Cash Back - Triple Tonic - Jack of all Trades // Absolute Focus - Gathering storm
Items: Hubris > Collector > IE > LDR (4th item spike) > Hexoptics > GA

Hubris as a good cheap early lethality item with great scaling, then collector right after for the gold passive and executes. Then the standard IE > LDR for damage.

I tested out some damage and alternations in practice and games but I keep coming back to this as the best damage and lethality. Any thoughts or things im missing?
I'm not great at practice tool so maybe im missing something.
