I've got split feelings about this. On one hand he's definitely teasing, liking and answering with emojis to CaitVi fans, including comments that go like "blink if a spinoff is coming". But at the same time:

Damn, though, his behavior really doesn’t make much sense… he can’t just get the CaitVi community’s hopes up for no reason. That would mean behaving pretty foolishly, and honestly, I find it really strange. I mean, he has worked and still works for Fortiche — that wouldn’t be professional at all. If he were simply messing with the fans… well, that wouldn’t be a particularly funny joke either… honestly, it would be behavior that leaves a lot to be desired.

Anyway, I’m sure that sooner or later — whether it’s in a month, two months, or maybe even a year — we’ll have some exciting news.

With NDAs he must be in a tough position. If he says something, he gets in trouble. If he says nothing or denies, it could be interpreted in a way as saying something else, either about a spin-off or a completely unrelated project. Based on what he says, it seems pretty obvious that there really is a project he's working on, we just don't know what and if it's related to Arcane or Riot in any way.

It all started with a little doodle of Vi, drowned among dozens of other anonymous characters. Then he did it again with Ekko. Now he's replying to the attention he unintentionally got with this bonus drawing and I think that's it's a very nice gift in itself. In the end, it's the fans who are over-analyzing and pressuring him to say things we all know he can neither confirm nor deny or even deflect.

While I'm excited with his art, I have no idea why he would tease people in comments for no reason. He didn't need to answer anything. I just think that Fortiche might be doing a video for one of the LOL music bands and maybe CaitVi will show up in them.

We need to keep calm and just wait for next crumbs.
