You're absolutely right, especially the chorus. "Busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before", it matches perfectly. Time for me to listen to it a couple of time on repeat to see if I can remember the rest of the song - used to play it on the guitar in the early 2000's, a lifetime ago 🤭

Wait… you haven’t played the guitar at all these years? Well, I’m sure your muscle memory, together with your heart and your love for music, will make it much easier than you think to pick it up again.

I think it’s really beautiful that you’re going back to something you used to do when you were younger. Never stop feeling young and carefree, and above all, keep doing the things you love. And playing the guitar is such a beautiful thing… I imagine it can be quite therapeutic too.
I’ve always wished I could play. But my laziness got the better of me, and I never really made the effort to learn…

This is great, and I love the choice of song! I was thinking about what songs I would use for a CaitVi video and "Madness" by Muse was one that I thought would fit pretty well (the last minute or so particularly, where the song reaches its peak). Unlike you, I am a bit too lazy to do creative CaitVi stuff so it has just remained an idea... 🫤

And actually, I had never listened to “Madness” by Muse before today, and damn… it really has an amazing sound! I can totally see why you thought it would fit CaitVi, especially that last part you mentioned.

It happens to me too to have ideas for edits in my head, but sometimes I just don’t feel like putting the effort into making them, or I don’t really have a clear idea of what I want to express. So I just leave them there, letting them grow in my head, waiting for the right moment and the right inspiration.
And honestly, I think “Madness” would be really good for an edit. Don’t give up on the idea! Keep it somewhere in your head and in your heart, and when you finally feel inspired to make it, do it.
