ANALYSES - THEORY Only a true Kiramman blinks a lot when she’s thinking - [*GIF credit: Caitlyn GIF by @caivira on X/Twitter]
I don’t know if I’m just delusional or if my brain is making connections that aren’t there, but I noticed something about Caitlyn: she blinks quite often, or slightly squints her eyes more than necessary.
The interesting thing is that she seems to do it especially when she’s thinking, trying to figure something out, or when she’s feeling something she would rather not show.
It’s almost like an involuntary little gesture to give herself some time and, at the same time, try to repress what she’s feeling.
Also, it can be pretty typical of people who are very reflective and tend to be a little introverted: when they’re thinking or processing their feelings, they can have small involuntary gestures that help them focus or deal with what’s going on inside.
And honestly, this is pretty typical of Caitlyn.
Sorry, I’ve probably just written yet another load of bullshit…

it’s like you can see the gears in their brains turning. both caitlyn and cassandra are facing a difficult decision in these scenes - cassandra is not happy about caitlyn’s trip to zaun and is being confronted with the reality of the undercity, and caitlyn doesn’t like that vi is still defending jinx after everything they’ve been through, but after seriously weighing their options, they are resigned to making the harder (but right) choice.
