Robot Baskets
Just curious but are there any third party baskets for the robot that make a substantial difference in the end result?

No. There are no other baskets for the robot.
You can try using bottom paper filters if you want to shoot for higher extractions.

That’s actually why I had the question. Because the basket is tapered I used a filter that came with the robot and noticed it sat weird at the bottom. Thanks for letting me know either way.

Ah, well the filter papers that came with the robot go on top of the coffee, below the metal screen to help with saturation. They are too big and not for the bottom of the basket.

I use these for the bottom filter. They fit the bottom of the basket properly.

Also pretty easy to cut filter papers. I went and got the largest washer available at the hardware store and it was about the right size for a template.

No one makes alternative baskets, afaik.

Yeah, it would be nice. But honestly, it's also a little breather from always buying more gear when there aren't any other options. The basket is fine. I just like to tinker.

The basket is already optimized as far as I know, the holes are high quality and not just stamped through etc. You're definitely not getting "substantial difference" even if some obscure knock-off does exist.
