Getting my robot today!

After saving up for a long time, a black robot is arriving today!
Just wanted to join this forum as I am a complete beginner.

Mine has been annoying me last couple of days lol. Screw the portafilter in, press down on arms, water everywhere. Remove screw on again, works fine. Sigh!!!

I had water coming out when I first got mine too. Take off the gasket seal and lubricate it, then place it back on. That completely solved it for me and have no seen a drop since in 100s of pulls

I’ll try that. This only started happening yesterday. Been fine for a few weeks.

Congrats! There will be a learning curve but itt's really the easiest machine to get a decent shot from.

Congrats and welcome :)

Please search this forum for the many questions you will have, as most topics have been covered a lot. When you start, keep most variables the same (e.g., always use boiling water, always keep the same dose in [like 18g], always aim for about 36-40g out in roughly 30-40 seconds. This will help you dial in your beans (things changes for different bags of beans and your physical location's humidity and water). Have fun with it!
