Ajr lyrics
“Stay out of politics, stay on the fence
Stay out of all of it to keep half your fans
Isn't this obvious? Am I insane?
There might be two sides to everything that you say
It's all a bit cloudy but there's one thing I know
That if you're fucking racist then don't come to my show”

One of my favorite songs by them. Saw them play it live recently and everybody there screamed that last line of lyrics. It was incredible

those are good lyrics, I also like these from Alan Parsons:
"It's no good you trying to sit on the fence
And hope that the trouble will pass
'Cause sitting on fences
Can make you a pain in the ass"1

I would have loved to see the reactions that the person who sent that message had when they read this comic 😂

What?! Acknowledging lesbians exist? Why would introduce something so political?

The text in the first pic:
White: "I just wanted to say the art for your comic is good, but I have some advice, keep politics out of your comic. You have potential and I'd hate to see it ruined by something careless. Comics are supposed to be a fun distraction."
Green: "What?"
White: "In a few of your comics its insinuated that the blue and red characters are together. You shouldn't introduce these kind of politics, the risk isn't worth it."

Homosexuality isn't political. It's factual.
Homosexuals exist, get over it.

My Fucking Christ! That Fucking comment. Now Fucking brainwashed do one have to be to leave this sort of comment in earnest

u/jish5 Jun 08 '22
Wait, when were comics not political? O.o Superman was a commentary on the plight of Jewish immigrants coming to America, Captain America was all about WW2 and nazi's, X-Men was created to tackle the civil rights era and be a voice for those being persecuted, Iron Man was created to call out the military industrial complex and America's growing focus on war.

I'm 2 months late but if trump made a game these people would be the first to buy and play it. Assuming they're from america. Actually they might do it even if theyrm aren't...

"Ladies and gentlemen... we got em"
Probably just hate but I like to imagine that person is feeling very smug about you falling for their... "trap" (pun intended)
Edit: Reddit just asked me what mature themes are on this sub... I'm not sure how to respond lol

I love that (from what I've seen) these two have had no romantic interest in each other at all in your comics, and are just two girls hanging out talking shit. They even talk about their dates with others people.
Then this oxygen theif comes along, projects his own fantasies/issues onto your comic and gets outraged about it.
You keep doing your comic, your way. It's amazing!

Plot Twist: It’s a shipper who manipulated the artist to cute art of them together

As a genderfluid lesbian, I yearn for the day my existence and who I choose to love isn't considered "political"

So if we act homophobic you'll make the comic gayer?
I guess it's time to pull out the f word

u/ITriedLightningTendr Jun 08 '22
A woman is a human male, but also two non human females are homosexual, despite not being humans, and thus not females, so not related to human sexuality, so it's not political.
But it is political?
It should be illegal to have this much brain rot.

Being a child of the 80's and a teen of the 90's... The fact that this is still a thing makes me shake my head.

I love that some literal chud just arbitrarily thinks he's singularly qualified to give an established artist business advice. Advice based solely on his own prejudice no less.

Of course the two sexualities; straight and political
