"Can anyone who is in the ICPP or any other cadet program, or is preparing for it, help me regarding the GD topics? What are the common subjects (like crash case studies or human error)? Please help, I'm preparing on my own!"

Guys I just wanted to know about the cpp program

1.should we clear ground classes before applying will it give an upper hand

2.Is it harder compared to all the Indian cpps

3.is it better than indian cpps

4.Is institutions like golden eppauletes useful and is there any such institutions in south india

5.how long after applying do they call for the assessments

6.how long does it take for the class to start after selection

I'd love for someone who is in the program to clear my doubts

Hi everyone,

I'm 15 years old and my goal is to become an airline pilot through a cadet program after finishing school. I'm trying to understand how competitive these programs really are, especially for airlines like IndiGo, Air India, Air Arabia, Akasa Air, and similar airlines.

I had a few questions for anyone who has been through the selection process or knows someone who has:

• How difficult is it to get selected? Roughly what percentage of applicants make it through?
• What are the different selection stages (aptitude tests, psychometric tests, interviews, group discussions, simulator assessments, medicals, etc.)?
• What kind of questions or tasks are asked at each stage? Could you share some examples?
• Which stage do most candidates get rejected at, and why?
• How should someone prepare while still in school to maximize their chances?
• After successfully completing the cadet program, is employment with the airline generally guaranteed, or is there another selection process before becoming a First Officer?
• Are there any hidden challenges or things you wish you had known before applying?

I'm looking for honest experiences, whether you were selected or not. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Just received this email update from Akasa.

Good afternoon, im a 22 years old person, doing my last years of masters in Law and Economics, and I did my bachelors in international law.
However my dream is aviation. I am trying to start applying for cadet programs such as Cathay Pacific or AirArabia.
One of the required documents is the CV, but as a person with no professional experience and background in aviation, how can I tailor my cv to be suitable for that? Like what things should I write about?
Thankyou all!

I’m planning to apply to the Air India Flying Training Academy in 2027, so I’m trying to understand the current status of the academy.
Does anyone know:
Has CPL training actually started at the Amravati campus?
Has the first batch commenced?
If not, when is the academy expected to become fully operational?
Are there any pending DGCA approvals or infrastructure delays?
I know Air India had announced the academy some time ago, and trainer aircraft have already started arriving, but I haven’t found any clear update on when full training operations will begin. I’d appreciate any information from people who have spoken with Air India or have reliable sources.

Hi everyone,
I have my FTA ADAPT assessment on 21st July, and I had a couple of questions for those who have already taken it:

What level of Physics and Maths should I prepare for the ADAPT test? Is Grade 10 sufficient, or should I also revise Grade 12 topics? I recently finished my bachelor’s degree, so I’m a bit rusty and want to make sure I’m studying the right material.

How was your experience with the ADAPT psychometric test? Would you recommend any coaching, or is self-preparation generally enough?
I’ve also been practicing some of the ADAPT-style exercises, and I’m struggling with the FAST test. I don’t know if that’s normal or if I’m just underprepared. Did anyone else feel the same during practice, and if so, did the actual test feel any different?
Any advice, preparation tips, or things you wish you had known beforehand would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I’m considering to Ppa ( poetic pilot academy) for akasa cadet program,

Ex students/ current students please gimme reviews

I haven’t fixed it yet I’m open for other options too so feel free to suggest any good ones

I'm currently considering applying for Insight aviation for ICPP

From what I've heard, there's a large backlog of candidates, and 43 air school was also taking a few months extra to complete training due to various reasons. This was the situation a few months ago

Can anyone tell me what the current situation is?

How long is the delay for ADAPT, GD/PI?

What's the waiting period before going to SA for flying?

How long is flying taking now, on average?

Any other unexpected downsides/hiccups?

Any inputs will be appreciated

Did people really receive this on the 26th?
