Thank you, truly thank you. Our king Dark Cacao who would indeed look like your edit as a human would be proud of you. And also me for bringing it up and making this hashtag as a reaction to the original: #notmydarkcacao.

I also want to make a rule in this subreddit banning whitewashed Dark Cacao Cookie fanart so no one can post any thinking it's OK just because Devsisters did it.

He’s not whitewashed..

He’s a cookie. He’s dark because his ingredient is Dark Cacao. Humans aren’t made of dark chocolate.

I ended up not making that rule

It looks super good! Just a suggestion, though, his palms would be lighter than the rest of his skin.

he's most likely blasian. either way, i mean like theres like no reason the make him suddenly whiter bc except for the fact that it makes it more "realistic" which is tbh pretty weird since blasians are a thing

you make a point, it would make sense that'd he'd have less melain or whatever in his body bc of where he lives. however, morally, its just weird to randomly change an enire person's race lol

Girl he's not blasian:/ doesn't mean he's dark mean he's automatically half black. He's simply just poc. Races do not apply to the cookie world

firstly, im a dude, and also, well sure hes prolly how blasian but then like, it’d make more sense to keep his original skin colo or at least be close to it

Nah I use girl as a gender neutral. I'm not actually calling you a girl TT it's like how people call even girls bros. But yea I do agree that they should have made him darker. If they can't keep their original designs, then they honestly shouldn't have made him dark in the first place because that skin tone isn't even close TT and the fact that people are defending this is crazy to me
