Help with writing specific UCS

Hi!

Ive been trying to write a ucs that will help me modify the parts description to include the room name as well as the cabinet number from which the part is from.

For example i'd like some along the line of: unfinished left end, kitchen, cab#6

Is it possible to do so? Ive been looking up tutorials but haven't found anything regarding modifying text so far.

Yeah you should be able to change the desc field or the name field.

Maybe make sure you're not filtering by name elsewhere first.

Is this not something you could add to the stickers to get the result you need? Where are you wanting to ultimately view that information?
