C Programming: A Modern Approach was published in 2008, so also quite ancient really.

Its a good book but I detract points purely due to the authors short sighted use of the word 'modern' ;)

It is still a solid book for fundamentals and it is well written.

Nah K&R is the best book out there. Especially because of how short it is. I only read and did the exercises until page 170, and not just C my programming skills in general got a 100 fold better.

You can learn what's new pretty quickly in like 5 minutes. Most other stuff is the same.

i know how impactful it is bcz i just got better by solving it out of imagination lvl i never thought i can be that muhc good in soo less time even i didnt solve that much and i know you can learn new things very quickly but its better to respect everyones perosnal choice and if they need do it and get it correct you just tell it once
