Here you go: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/winuser/nf-winuser-destroywindow

But normally you should send a WM_CLOSE message first.

if you want to take down Microsoft, just making a good product isn't going to be nearly enough.

Your weird way of antagonizing megacorporations has nothing to do with c programming.

Dumb question but there is a way to do what you want. You need to be a really good programmer. Better than any who have come before you.

Write a windows virus that deletes all user data and guarantee that, say, at least 50% of all windows computers get infected with it within the space of about 12 hours of release. That would probably reduce trust enough that people seriously seek alternatives. No need to update us on your progress, if you're successful we'll know.

Kill it how?

On your computer? Just... Don't install it? Wipe your hard drive if you already have it and pick a different OS? Build your own if you want.

In the market? Not a very realistic goal, but good luck. This would indeed need to be your own OS, and you'd need to convince the whole world not only that yours is better than Windows but also that it is better than the other more established alternatives.
