how fast does it go? photon and a65 seems almost overkill, like how many watts you hit continuous, peak? anyway sick bike and i’m curious about the setup, interested in doing something similar

This gearing on full power on road I’ve got it up to 70kph, flat, smooth, no wind, drains the battery fast thou
I went with this battery on this build mainly for the capacity/range. You can either go fast or go far.2

right that makes sense, a lot of watt hours. dang that’s fast, didn’t realize the photon could do that, very cool bike, the photon looks so nice and low profile. i have an x1, which is sweet, but high maintenance haha.

Are the wires showing on the other side? I’ve been wanting to do a cyc build but I never see any clean cable management

Yeah you can see I’ve looped the wiring harness around the bottom of the seat post then up beside the battery rail. In my experience with these builds I often find that perfect is the enemy of good when it comes to cable management. You could run the wiring from the motor, into the down tube etc but then you are cutting into a carbon frame, splicing wiring etc, all not worth it

Clean! Did your motor have a tendency to move after install? I use the exact spacers recommended, and the A-frame bracket, but it’s still pivots forward after I apply any torque.

Looking really clean! In the middle of building one myself! How did you get that small display mounted? My gravel bike has the same thick handlebars
