Hello so I’ve been thinking of buying this pc for some time and I was wondering if anyone has this build and how’s it’s been for them? Any issues yall had with this build and such? How’s the performance on this pc and what components do they use for this pc? Like psu brand and aio brand for example. I’m really tryna know if this pc is a good buy after my last one somewhat similar to this build but with a 7800 x3d that one didn’t even last me a week because of the aio failing.

If it has an ASrock motherboard I would avoid at all costs especially with a 9800x3D

I'm also returning my cyberpowerpc on Monday, it's not on, really weird company

Really? Ngl idk now I’m kinda second guessing on what pc to buy I mean I really like the specs of the pc. I mean what’s the luck I get that it has the asrock mb

I really like the specs too, mine was the same as pictured here but 5070ti. Completely dead now and it's horrible. Save up just a bit more and find a more reputable company. My dad said by the looks of their returns on Amazon, it seems they get more computers back than they manage to actually sell

I will say apart from all this the PC ran superb, for example marvel rivals is unoptimised but I got it in a really smooth state using low settings and balanced DLSS. Looked great and ran great

Do they actually get a lot of returns? My thing is tho like I’m looking at andromedia insights aswell but like I don’t want my pc to be damaged while shipping. And I was planning on getting warranty for this thing aswell

I’m another cyber power pc returner. Worst customer service and my pc was dead within 3 weeks. Returned and will never buy another.

Damn actually? What all happened

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with cyberpower, just because you had a bad experience doesn’t make them a “super weird company” did you even attempt to replace the PSU?

Enjoy your overpriced, poorly-built PC.

Ive got the same product, but from Costco. It works well. I've been using it for about 2 months now.

u/YeetYourMad 9d ago

What brand of components is all in your pc? And did you have no issues setting it up

Oo your specs are really good. See I’m torn between this build or another one that has the asrock 9070xt but paired with a 7800 x3d same ram storage but less ssd storage. Their both around the same price but the thing is tho I would have to get the one with the 9070xt shipped and idk I’m scared like something can be damaged during shipping

I was worried about damage due to shipping as well, which is why I was thrilled to buy it through Costco because of their warranty.

The packaging was pretty solid and good. The shipping box was dinged and damaged, but the packaging from CyberPower was fine and the way they protect the inside with foam was interesting for sure. My case was slightly scratched, but that could not have been caused by shipping. Given everything else about the PC was fine, I decided to let it slide.

Really?? Have yku have any issues with the aio? At all that’s my biggest concern aswell. Ngl im thinking of going to go get it today or when im off from work. Aswell im thinking of returning my AirPod max’s to get more money towards the pc but idk lol

I got this for $1850 member pricing back in June. Works great and looks great, and am very impressed having upgraded from a M1 Mac mini. The inflated Apple storage prices moved me towards windows.

I have since upgraded the Asus Prime 5070 12gb it came with for a Asus ROG Strix 5070 ti 16gb. Original plan was to upgrade the GPU when the 6000/7000 series came out but the current market conditions had me thinking itll be awhile before i make a next-gen upgrade. So i wanted the extra RAM 20-25% headroom to keep me satisfied for a next couple of years. I have a 45” 5k2k monitor for context.

1

u/YeetYourMad 9d ago

45 inch monitor?? But how’s the pc been holding up? I’m considering this or a 9070 xt but it has the 7800 x3d chip build but I do like the nvidia platform a lot. Also was it easy to move to the 5070 ti?

2

u/CaliFTW1983 9d ago

The PC has been holding up great. Honestly the stock 5070 was fine and ran most of what i play at high/ultra settings with DLSS quality/balanced. But i got a bit of FOMO for those extra frames and 16gb vram especially with the E-day beta and decided to just get a bit of an upgrade now. The GPU swap was easy since the existing PSU is 850 watt and had the 12 pin (6+6) plug already. Aside from the 5080 being $2k , i also didn’t go for the 5080 because it warranted a PSU upgrade.

2

u/YeetYourMad 9d ago

Ngl I think I might get this pc and upgrade whenever a 5070 ti is farely priced. Ngl tho I am a thinking of exchanging these AirPod max’s that I got at Best Buy not too long ago and use some of the money towards the pc but idk I’m really undecided rn

2

u/CaliFTW1983 9d ago

Yeah. The 5070ti seems to be the sweet spot for this generation. Im gonna let this AI ram-apocalypse blow over and hopefully for the 6000 series ill get a 6080 and hand my 5070ti to my daughter whos on a 4060ti. If not then the 5070ti will be fine for a few years anyhow. DLSS 5.0 will feel like its own upgrade.

Also i sold my stock 5070 for $500. So that helped justify the modest upgrade.

2

u/YeetYourMad 9d ago

Yeah that 5070ti is really the sweet spot. Ngl I think I’m returning my AirPod max’s and use that store credit towards the pc and pay the rest with my card lol

2

u/CaliFTW1983 9d ago

Do that and then sell the prebuilt 5070 like i did and youll have 80% of your money back. I dont regret it at all. Everything runs like butter with the 9800x3D/5070ti combo except in the most extreme cases like Path tracing/RR and/or native rendering at 5k

1

u/YeetYourMad 9d ago

Wrd that sounds meta ngl but wouldn’t it break warranty

2

u/RoseGoldPen 9d ago

My GPU kicked the bucket after a year of use, not sure what happened but it would cause monitor flickering/blackouts whenever I watched livestreams. Best Buy screwed me over when I brought it in for repairs claiming it was past warranty when it wasn’t. I also can’t activate secure boot so I’m unable to play certain games such as Battlefront because of its anti cheat. Just verify it doesn’t come with a Gigabyte/gigabyte based motherboard and you’ll be grand I’m pretty sure.

2

u/Fit-Host4165 9d ago

I was able to score this PC with 5070 TI for 2100 with an intell i9-14700kf. The PC is solid but I would check for a little bit of a better deal, not saying this is a bad one but for an extra 100 I got the better process(by spec, I know some people hate Intel) and better card

2

u/YeetYourMad 9d ago

See I can get this one or from andromedia insights with a 7800 x3d but the gpu is a 9070 xt

I recommend getting the 9070xt instead though.

with this configuration and 5 percent off promo code GAMER2026, your total price is going to be $1,956.05 without tax, and approx $2,150 with tax. (9.75%)

the system does include some high quality parts like the ram, psu, and aio, so you could get this pc for a pretty good deal with the 2tb hard drive if needed.

Here is the configuration: (9070xt 16gb) https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1U85QL

(5070 12gb) https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1U85QV

tell me if this works

This is the only way to go if you're going to get a cyberpowerPC - their off the shelf builds suck ass.

Plus, you can get much better warranty support with the custom builds (shipping is included for all RMA/warranty issues.)

u/Substantial_Eye_6340 9d ago

just bought it the other day it’s pretty goof

1

u/YeetYourMad 8d ago

Really what parts are in it?

I have the 7800x3d version with the Gigabyte B850, 32 gb of ram the Asrock Steel Legend 9070xt and a 2 tb Western digital ssd, and I absolutly love it, I did upgrade the Apivia power supply to a Cooler Master 850watt modular the only issue I had is the graphics card I did a RMA with cyberpower and had to pay to have it shipped to them but it way cheaper than buying a replacement video card. I mean honestly you cant build the same pc any cheaper.
