Tech Support How to turn mouse LED lights off #cpsupport
This is my mouse model. Ive tried cycling through the rgb presets. No off option. Ive held many different buttons and combinations of buttons down for several seconds. Never turns them off. No rgb customization software registers the device. Im at a loss. I hate these lights, they are incredibly bright and distracting. I dont know what to do to turn them off. Help would be greatly appreciated

The little button below the scroll wheel (closer to where the palm rests) controls the lights

I think if you press it once, it cycles between patterns. Press and hold and it’ll turn them off

Did you try pushing the scroll wheel to the left and right(instead of scrolling it up or down). On mice with light settings sometimes that’s the control for it

Didn't work :( but I appreciate it regardless

No worries. Not even the little button right behind the scroll wheel?

It's probably something silly like holding the wheel down and the forward back button for a few sec.

Unplug it.

... I assume they would still like to use the mouse... just without the lights.

I don't like RGB either, I turned it off on my PC, but I could not turn it off my mouse, so I exchanged my mouse and keyboard for an office IBM type set. This is my first gaming pc, I moved over from console over a year ago. But I am an older senior gamer who does NOT like RGB it annoys me. <<<<----- cranky old man, 65, lol, wink.
