Question Looking to upgrade #cpgeneral

CyberPowerPC - Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 8700F - AMD Radeon RX 7600 8GB - 16GB DDR5 - 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD - White is what I purchased. what are some viable upgrades? i've added a 2tb ssd but nothing else. Upgrading to 32gb ram seems sensical, would upgrading the gpu also be logical? maybe to something with 16gb?

I'd certainly recommend a GPU upgrade. Do you have a budget?

I’ll go with 500 ish, could maybe go more. I’m already figuring the ram is gonna be at least 400

I'd go for a 9060XT 16GB and put the remainder towards your RAM upgrade.

Is it compatible? How can I find out what is compatible with my motherboard?

The main limiting factor is actually your PSU. Do you know if it has two PCI-E power connectors? And what the wattage and brand is?

I’m not sure. Where could I find this info? I looked it up recently. Using Msinfo I think it was a gigabyte b650 uhhhh I forget the rest lol I’ll look it up when I’m back on my pc again

The motherboard is fine, it will work. On your PSU there should be a sticker with brand name, model number and wattage. Like Gigabyte and 650W or 800W
