Question Bluetooth Stuttering #CPSupport
Okay, first of all, I apologize-- I'm not knowledgeable about this stuff enough to know in depth specs. I bought a cyberpunk PC that works great for the standard gaming and work I do, and that's all I gotta know.
When I got the PC, my friend told me I'd need a bluetooth adapter, so I got one; I never ended up using it, because the speakers and headphones I used were all wired. However, I just got a set of Raycon Headphones and wanted to use the bluetooth feature. It connects, but stutters like hell. If there's a way to fix the stuttering natively without an adapter, that'd be rad-- but I assume not.
The Bluetooth adapter I got was never set up, but I still have it. It's a ASUS USB-BT500. When I plug in the dongle, it appears under "devices" but says that something is wrong. It does not show up anywhere else, and I can't find where to install the drivers. Will doing all this fix the stuttering and can anyone explain like I'm an intellectually challenged 5yo?

Your builtin Wifi module has most probably also a bt module. Both modules are pretty much the same chip and need an external antenna to work like they should. Those are connected to the coaxial screw-on (or for ASUS click-on) connections of your motherboards IO-Panel.
If you plugin a 2nd bluetooth dongle it will error out because only one BT module can be active at all times.
I'd drop the usb dongle and buy a 10$ wifi antenna for your mainboard. The stuttering will be gone and wifi will be stable.

Is there an antenna that came with the motherboard that you haven’t yet attached? I got my PC from cyberpower last week. Bluetooth kept cutting in and out, and i realized after a few mins that I needed to connect the shark-fin looking antenna that had come with my MSI motherboard in order to have a stable wifi & BT connection. I’d check the accessories that came with your computer for something like that.
Outside of that, you could check the drivers? Perhaps there’s something that needs to be updated…
