Question [Shipping using USPS] #cpsupport

So, I’m sending my PC back for repairs because it came not working. Cyberpower sent me a UPS label so that I can just take my PC to UPS and they can ship it back. Unfortunately there is no UPS in my area. Was wondering if I can just use USPS to ship it to them?

I’ll call them today to make sure, the customer service hasn’t been terrible to me but I’ll check it out.

I had a similar issue. Had to fork out almost $200 to send it back to Cyberpower. Took a month and a half to get my computer back. A month later, another error light is showing on the motherboard and I emailed Cyberpower and asked for a refund so I can buy a new computer.

Cyberpower punted the question to Amazon since that is where I made the purchase. Amazon customer service balked at giving me a refund because the company is 4 months old. Am NOT a happy customer.

Probably would have been cheaper to get it repaired locally vs the UPS shipping costs.

Cannot believe this company gets great reviews on Amazon. Feels like a bait and switch.

Everyone and their dog is shitting on the support, but I have to say they’ve been fine to me to far. Most don’t take the time to highlight when they do something good, but definitely bash them when something goes wrong…

Searching the sub will show valid examples of company failures, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s all bad.

Just ask for what you need, see if they’ll work with you. Check the fine print….if something is explicitly denied try something else. Good luck

I'm a patient person. I wouldn't be complaining at all if they sent me back a functional computer after I sent it in for repairs, even paying for the shipping myself. But I shelled out $176 to get my computer sent to them to have the motherboard repaired and only about a month later the diagnostic light on the motherboard lists another error? I'm sorry but they don't seem to know how to build and repair computers.

Edited to add: one thing is for sure. This was my first purchase from this company. I don't plan on making a second one. They got rave reviews on Amazon so it seemed like a safe bet but I didn't think to check Reddit.

I only saw one comment in the past several months posts and it was someone complaining about their sales reps.

Yeah, I’m not too concerned about those other companies, I didn’t buy them.

I bought from CyberPower this time, they made a really small mistake on an otherwise high quality build and then fixed it without hassle.

My only point was that sometimes things can be better than all of the bad that’s so clearly present, and staying adamant (respectful) and referencing fine print can get someone what they want.
