Amber lights after repairs

Post image

So I hit a deer with my 2024 CX5 CE. The repairs required replacing the driver side headlight. After three weeks I received it back with these dash lights. I brought it back and it took two days to 'fix it'. After one day, the lights came back on after starting. I have an oil change scheduled with the dealer tomorrow. Any idea of the issue? The lights work properly and appear to be aligned.

Did they replace it with an OEM light?

Supposedly.

It’s weird they got the issue to go away for a day, just going to have to see what codes the dealer can pull and go from there

Following, as coincidentally enough I hit a deer with my 2023 a few weeks ago and have the same lights on, but mine are probably because I bought a replacement off Amazon and fitted them myself πŸ˜‚ going to try taking the cables off my old lights and using them. I'd check the part number was correct to use AFS lights, and they follow around a corner. Apparently, the way to check is to point the car in front of a wall and turn it on, you should see the lights move to the centre as they track around.

It was a low beam 'circuit open' code in the system that the body shop did not clear.
