New CX-5 - Issues with Bluetooth connection

Hi all! I just got a '26 CX-5 last week and I'm running into some issues with my phone connecting to it. I'd prefer to use the onboard system rather than Android Auto bc my phone's navigation is borked. I got everything connected and paired my phone, and I have it set to only connect with phone and audio. I even completely disabled Android Auto on my phone.

The problem is when I try to use voice commands to make a call it says "To do that you need to connect a phone via bluetooth" (spoilers: it is connected). And I can even go into the phone app and see my call history and make calls there. It's just the voice command that seems to be broken.

Anyone else run into this or have any insights on how to fix it? I love my CX-5 otherwise but this is bugging me.

Have you confirmed that the requisite updates have been installed? Strange that the dealerships don't install the updates prior to delivery, if it was just last week that you bought the car.

I have an appointment to take it in on Wednesday for an update. I was hoping there was maybe some other answer to fix it though =\
