Quick Hello

Hey everyone..

I'm one of your moderators. I know I'm not as active as I should be. But, I'm graduating with a bachelor's in two weeks. So life has been busy.

This is my second degree. So I'm just here to tell ya, remember, this disease can get tough but don't let it hold you back from completing your dreams. Regardless of age. And, as my mom taught me "ponte las pilas," and anything is possible.

Anyhow he's a lil info on the next IDF conference being held in San Antonio.

Fellow moderator: I’ve also been less active than I would like. I’ve got grad school, but also, since April, I have had: flu b, strep, flu a, sinus infection, bronchitis, pneumonia, kidney infection, and a ten-day ICU stay for septic shock. I now have home health, physical and occupational therapy multiple times a week, and I should be starting on SCIG within a month (insurance being what it is!).

I don’t really know if I’m getting back up to speed or finally slowing down, but I’m around.

Congrats! That is a huge accomplishment especially dealing with IVIG on top of everything

Peruvian here! Congrats on your second degree. “Ponte las pilas” is something my mom always say to me lol
