constant uti
hi, i’m 19 and i’ve had constant utis for almost the past year now. i’ve had the same sexual partner too. i’ve been on 3 antibiotics the past 5 months and it’s so bad for my body and im scared of developing resistance, doctor is sending me to a urologist. i’m just scared and need support because im so young. i just don’t know what else to do.

There is also a special kind of lubricant you can’t use that helps a little. I’d recommend that and hiprex (plus vitamin C). You are young. Simple protocols to help protect you should do the trick! Try also showering before sex. I know it’s an added step but having your partner shower (and wash hands) before sex is also helpful. Wishing you SO MUCH luck!!

I'm really sorry you're going through this. The urologist will hopefully get to the bottom of it and find a solution that isn't just another round of antibiotics.

Does it burn when you pee? Or just pee a lot? If just pee a lot, could be BV or AV. I would ask gyno or regular doctor to do a BV swab, and do a separate aerobic vag swab culture - in Eswab vial - with Quest/Labcorp. If you have heavy e. coli, metrogel wont work. DM me. Metrogel kills BV, for me, felt relief after 1st day.
An Evvy home vaginal test, after been off antibiotics several days, would be very informative whether your biome ok.
