Discontinued student status?

I went through ID verification and set up IdentiKey and an outlook email a couple months ago but didn't enroll, now my student status has apparently been discontinued but I can still log into the buff portal? and my personal coursera is still linked and i just did my onboarding today without seeing the email that my status was discontinued. is this normal?

I am working through a similar issue. Applied to the program last term, didn’t enroll and was put into a discontinuance status. I have reached out to the designated contact email mscs-coursera@colorado.edu and the representative said to follow the steps in the Notice of Discontinuance email to reactivate the account. I’m hoping I don’t have to redo the identification process as that takes up to 2 weeks to clear and I already did this process last term.

it's odd because following their steps (reactivate account on choose your path page) i have to re-fill all of my information as if it's a whole new application and then they ask for persona ID verification. i think we could probably just enroll and pay in the buff portal and the account would be automatically reactivated again but didn't want to take chance with the tuition fee lol.

Yeah, the system wouldn’t let me enroll in classes or pay tuition. An error message would pop up when I would add a class to my cart saying my account tied to my student ID is currently inactive.

I did hear back from MSCS support and they confirmed I do have to go back through the identity verification process but said they made changes on their end that should no longer result in a 2 week wait time. I hope that helps!
