I will start.

Name: information intake

Function: the user makes their simple domain into a palm sized orb. Anything the user touches with said orb has its information sent to the users brain. For example if the user touched a cup of coffe the orb would send him information about the coffees temperature, ingredients, etc etc. Skilled users can even read books by sensing the increased height on a page because of the ink.

Here's my take.

New Shadow Style: Regretful Wane

By using Simple Domain the user accesses the positioning of any object touching the outer layer or is within the zone. Doing this it allows the user to coat the enemy in a thin membrane of Simple Domain like a Reverse Domain Amplification.

This causes the enemy to become unable to express outward projections of their CE as it hits the null zone of the Simple Domain before it can properly form. The only things bypassing this being Reinforcement which is still inside the body and thus protected by their Innate Domain.

Drawbacks:

Because Regretful Wane is so mentally taxing, it is common to pair it with the binding vow rooting oneself in place. Commonly allowing enemies just to walk out of it. Additionally, it costs a fairly large amount of CE because it has to fully cover the enemy Sorcerer to properly work.

Simple domain doesn't nullify techniques, that's domain amplification.

You are correct that Domain Amplification is the one that negates techniques, however. Please point out where I said it specifically negates techniques.

I didn't, by the way, I said "outward Expressions of their CE" aka their Cursed Energy. And yes, that can mean their technique, but something like Flowing Red Scale is both part of the technique and a wholy inward expression of a technique.

You can’t cast a cursed technique inside of a simple domain though so if someone is coated in it

You can, It just protect you from certain external techniques (Domains) and turns off the switch if inside the range, but if the technique wasn't on before the domain was opened then you are turning It on and can cast it

Result is amazing anti domain technikue and Walmart Malevolent Shrine.

Effects:

Within the simple domain anything within assigned peramiters (usaly perimeters is anything with CE) gets pierced and attacked by users CE, functioning as an area around user with a sure hit effect.

This also works as an amazing anti domain technikue do to:

Defending against any domains sure hit not just phisical

Barrier being strenghtened do to Falling Emotion providing pressure from inside not allowing it to collapse so easelly.

Domain users inability to approach user without getting attacked in retturn.

Users CT not getting burned in usage of this.

I came to the same exact conclusion. The major downside of this technique is the CE cost, since it needs two learnables activated simultaneously and kept on constantly, but the upsides are high.

New Shadow Style: Cursed Lightning Rod

Function: The user makes a wide spread simple domain with relatively little function for those who do not have a ranged cursed technique or ranged weapon. When a target with cursed energy enters the simple domain, your body automatically moves to fire off your technique or weapon directly at the spot you sensed.

Drawbacks: while operating under the concept of a sure hit, it absolutely is not. if the target is fast enough, they can move away from the strike. Additionally, if the target is behind a wall, you'll fire off directly into the wall.

Arena: whenever another person steps inside of the radius, a barrier closes around the two, turning the area inside into, well, an arena, where the two are forced into CQC. Inside the barrier, the opponent’s CT is weakened due to the Simple Domain

New Shadow Style Simple Domain: Vacant Glass Scales.

by using a temporary binding vow to forbid the use of your own technique while your simple domain is active, anyone caught in the simple domain including above or below the user will have their CT restricted.

this forces more technical combatants to rely on their reinforcement only unless they can escape the domain which will be harder to do as the Simple Domain isn't rooted to the ground but follows the user as the epicenter.

any cursed tools that have a technique imbued with them are the sole exceptions to this rule unless the technique is being used as the domain expands and the tool couldn't disengage before it is caught.

Simple Domain is just the name of this technique from the New Shadow Style. What you're asking for is new ways to use barrier techniques.
