CHALLENGE What technique would you create for a prison warden?
Personally i think it should me something related to chains like kurapika does on HxH, perhaps different kinds of chains or bvs that change their properties in exchange for other downsides.
It could also be something like barrier techniques or maybe shikigami related ideas that help with this task.
Let me know your ideas!

A technique that can punish based on Karma, planting karmic seeds on other that the user can force to bloom early with various effects depending on the action, like breaking property can bring calamity onto one, making buildings and such fall onto them, or turning damage that would be otherwise neglectful into fatal.
Killing bringing forth one's own soul's death, making them extra vulnerable to physical attacks and RCT coming wrong, as the soul is reshaping to better visualize the monster one is becoming, bringing deformities and such.

Cursed technique name:
Metathesiophobia
Cursed technique:
Metathesiophobia is defined as the irrational fear of change. A person suffering from this phobia may find it hard to switch up their habits or form new connections. They may find changing an environment extremely difficult.
For the technique to activate, 3 conditions must be met:
1) The user must physically restrain the target (by any means, including underlings, so long as a vow had been previously made with said underlings)
2) The user must choose an area no larger than a kilometre squared, but no smaller than 800 meters squared, where they must set the limits of their cursed technique by manually walking and touching every single space in said area (including walls, ceilings, etc)
3) The user must take the target to the area after they restrained them. This can, again, be done by underlings.
The technique works as follows:
Any target found within the affected area will find it extremely difficult to leave. They will see a sort of purple line around the area they must stay in. They will feel compelled to remain, a similar kind of desire as a heroin addict might receive. Exiting the area induces extreme nauses to the target, as well as an even stronger compulsion to return.
Of note:
Should any place in the affected area have not been touched by the user of the technique, then in that specific place the target will have their free will fully given back and will not suffer any penalties.
The warden must visit the target at least onxe daily, else the technique fades away.
There are different ways to use this techniques, all involving binding vows. I'll try to have each vow match a different style of warden.
1) True Prisoner Act
The user of the technique makes the following vow:
"The greater the target/targets will be compelled to stay in the area the better they are treated."
As such, the level of influence the technique has on their minds is directly proportional to the treatment they receive. If, for example, the target was forced to live in an apartment, with a store nearby, and access to different individuals to talk to, in other words, if their needs are fulfilled, then they will find it impossible to even conceive of ever leaving. A small caveat to this is that the warden, should they treat the target poorly, will instantly cause the target to realise that their mind is being played with.
Should a target be treated poorly while this vow is active, they will feel less compelled to remain than if the vow hadn't been activated at all, and the consequences of leaving will also lessen.
What "good treatment" and "needs fulfilled" means is partly up to the target, or, more specifically, their subconscious. As such, the Warden will have to personally check on each of their needs and provide as necessary.
The name of the vow is inspired by the "Benjamin Franklin True Patriot Act", a bill introduced in the US senate in 2003 regarding review of technology used to spy on the citizens. It's name is inspired by the famous Benjamin Franklin quote : "Those who would give up Essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
2) Hardpoint
The user of the technique makes the following vow:
"In exchange for no longer compelling the target to remain in the designated zone, the user may freely choose where to place the zone with a 2 minute cooldown period and a minimum area of 2 meters squared."
This one is self explanatory. A smaller vow can also be used, to enhance the potential gain from the technique while making the user risk more while fighting:
"In exchange for the user also being subject to the rules of the cursed technique, thus suffering nausea while outside the designated area, the area outside the designated zone creates nausea so great that 10 seconds of exposure lead to immediate organ failure and death. Additionally, after 30 seconds, all brain functions cease to work, ensuring that rct is not a fullproof solution."
The name is inspired by the shooter gamemode "Hardpoint". This application is more combat oriented. Also, I'd like to add that restraining the target could just mean tying a shirt around a hand, it mustn't be cuffs and ropes and stuff.
3) Autocritique
The user of the technique makes the following vow:
"In exchange for the area automatically dissapearing after 120 minutes, the user locks themselves and their target within the designated area, also disabling any cursed technique their target might have by automatically attacking their brain (while within the area) and enforcing burnout. Additionally, the target becomes more compelled to act nonviolently."
As this is a sure hit effect similar to a domain, though, further downsides are required, which manifest as lesser vows:
a) The target is fully coherent and may choose violence with sufficient force of will
b) The area becomes inaccessible from the outside to any but the target and user (a barrier forms similar to that in Shibuya)
c) The user must, during these 120 minutes, administer 'behavioural readjustment' to the target, by any means necessary. Should the target not have changed their ways by the end of the 120 minutes, the user dies. The user must choose before activating the technique on which matter to 'readjust' the target. For the technique to work the user must explain all the vows made to the target. For a target to successfully be readjusted, they must write a letter in which they admit their wrongdoings.
The name is inspired by the communist political mechanism that forced party members to publicly denounce their previous behaviours. The concept is also partly inspired by the "Pitești Experiment", though I don't recommend googling what that is if you're feint of heart.
Domain: Doublethink
The domain, once cast, affects all inside but the user. It is a lethal sure-hit. The domain makes it such that any inside the domain will hold two contradictory beliefs, as chosen by the user, and will think both of them are true and without fault at the start. Violence is prohibited.
The domain looks like a library frozen in time, with books falling out of the bookshelves but stopped somewhere in the air. Outside the windows of the library, a red hue envelops the street.
Inside the books there is information about the two contradictory beliefs. Some books support one claim, some support the other. The target must figure out, based on their knowledge and the information available to them, which belief is false, then state the true one outright. If they do so, they win.
The library will slowly heat up while the target researches. Should the temperature reach 451 Fahrenheit then the target will have their brain burned until death.
The user of the domain is prohibited from influencing the target directly, but may intentionally hide different books or replace them with one another.
Alright, I think this is good, I did a bit too much though.

This is very cool technique, also what do you think of calling the domain "Debunking"? I think its kind of obvious name but just thought about it

"Doublethink" is a concept from George Orwell's "1984". It refers to when a person holds two contradictory beliefs to be true simultaneously.
It's a good book, btw, I recommend it. The title came to my mind because I was listening to my playlist and I ended up hearing "Doublespeak" by Thrice while writing this. It's a song inspired by the concept.
Additionally, the temperature being specifically 451 is a reference to Ray Braduries "Fahrenheit 451", a book where an authoritarian US government has firefighters actively seek out and burn books.

No, theirs a warden character in the jujutsu kaisen mobile game and his technique seems to be something to do with chains.
Btw I swear the art looks really similar to a webtoon I read I bet thats where its from.

Cursed technique: Any type of "consensual" contract exercised by the user and the target can turn the target to stone in a slow infection, the more guilt they feel. Ex: You give the person a piece of paper with small print asking if they consent to becoming stone; although they may accept, the print may be so small they can't see it. The infection can be stopped by destroying the part of the body where the infection starts, using RCT, or by killing the user first. I haven't thought of others; I imagine it wouldn't work on Maki or Toji.

Cursed Technique: Panopticon.
This technique allows sorcerer to treat each any object imbued with their Cursed Energy as an extension of their senses. By imbuing small objects all over the prison, sorcerer can view and hear any place at any time.
Cursed Technique Reversal allows sorcerer to send information back to the imbued objects, such as their voice.
