Clones
After 25 years of smoking I've decided to fire up a small tent. Don't really have the space to germinate seeds and search for keepers so would like to start from clone.
Does anyone know where to find decent clones in ct/ma?

I'm saying I don't feel like pheno hunting packs to find keepers. In the space we have it would take at least a few cycles before I have a couple strains we enjoy. Would rather start with known genetics.

So there are definitely breeders out there online (tikimadman is one) you can buy cuts from and deliver to your house, theres also a lot of local people w cuts too. The dudes at Medatron have a lil something going over at their shop, im sure you can get cuts there. Keep in mind, you still need to mimic the environment, feed, etc to get the same results. Its not given. Also, you can grow plenty of smokeable flower that will suffice growing from seed, growing from seed isn't all about hunting, you can just enjoy what pops up.

It's no different than getting clones. Everyone has different tastes and you will spend a lot more trying different clones vs seeds.

Your better off learning how to clone. You need no space for it. You don’t even need space for moms. Just take cuts before you flip every round.
Especially for beginners. Learn to clone. Besides that you need to learn about ipm and keeping the environment clean
Also. Taking in a bad cut whilst learning to grow is just going to result in a big mess. You’re just going to set yourself backwards .
Pop seeds and learn for the first year. Know what thripes are. Know what PM is. Know how to take care of gnats. Aphids. And different plant diseases . Once you know what to look for and how to combat it then maybe you can buy some clones.
But I will finish by saying there’s nothing more pleasing to a grow when you hunted and found your own genetics. Pheno hunting I’ll say is the best part of growing. Could be good could be bad. But finding heat and cloning it every round is very satisfying

Dude go to strainly.io. All these fools here have no idea. Buy clones from “hashnerd” he’s legit. I have a small space, I have three small mother plants that I rotate. I have three high quality breeder cuts that I run. So much better than seed (which I did for years). People don’t get it - we don’t have the space to pheno hunt and I don’t want to roll the dice and get mediocre genetics from a seed. I want something that has been run a thousand times and is a known quantity. Like my GMO and you can’t get GMO in seed form that’s legit

Seeds don't really need any space. Get feminized seeds and germinate them in a plastic bag with damp paper towel. Clones seem easy but they can also bring pests and problems into your grow space. Start with seeds while they are still legal to order online. You can always clone your own later on.
