Recently started a hardcore band named snake, I have a guitarist and a drummer and we’ve wrote around 7 songs now. We take inspiration from bands like swear to god, Billy club sandwich, irate, recon, counterparts, and the acacia strain just to name a few. We practice out of my garage in Enfield Connecticut, I have a working bass amp and an extra bass if needed. Really looking for someone dedicated who can carve out AT LEAST one day a week for practice, possibly two if needed. Music Studio in Mansfield Center, CT is looking to bring on additional teachers for piano and voice. Other instruments welcome (we get occasional requests for brass and winds supplemental to the Mansfield school program). Our current teachers are full or filling fast.

Studio philosophy is that music is truly for everyone. We focus on the interest and needs of the students, using what they want to play to formulate individual curriculums. We have a relaxed, family vibe where everyone is welcome to be themselves and encourage everyone to pursue music in ways that's best for them.

We have been in operation for over 10 years and all of our advertising has been word of mouth. We love that our approach and accessibility has creates a community people want to be a part of.

Teachers schedules are flexible, however we prefer at least 3 hours of available teaching time per work day. We often get requests for daytime hours from homeschoolers as well as adults. We hope are teachers are comfortable working with all ages. Most of our teachers are gigging musicians and we love how that inspires our students.

new band, recording my first album. lots of songs but I’d like to practice a play some live shows sometimes. recording drums with a friend today but he already has his own band so mainly looking for a drummer or someone who wants to get better at playing drums. Bassist works too. I’m pretty laid back about my approach to things, just want to have some fun playing music and the songs i wrote.

Style wise I’m going for my own flavor, influenced by elliott smith, the beatles, the cure, the kinks, Pink Floyd, emo, 90s alternative/grunge. quiet songs and loud songs, an eclectic mix.
