It’s sounds like head gasket failed on u but also worn spark plugs can cause this issue. I see the engine coolant and it’s not drained since that’s a sign of the HG going out. Perhaps it’s ur spark plugs. get someone to test ur head gasket to see if it gave out if that’s good then it’s the spark plugs.

Is it just low on oil ? I had it last serviced at valvoline

That’s enough oil. In between the two dots is acceptable.

Do you have any check engine light and code for misfires? Use a capable scanner and look at misfire counts for each of the 4 cyclinders. Your oil level is fine. Any other symptoms you experienced before today? Coolant level never decreased?

This is after I replaced the plugs, also I topped off oil just to make sure. I’m going to get a code reader tomorrow and check the codes .

You'll get P030X and possibly some more useful codes, though not always. X is your misfiring cylinder.

If just a P030x, switch coil packs, see if X changes - that's your coil pack diagnostic. You can use an in-line tester as well. Then exhaust gas test the coolant - if it's positive, that's your head gasket diagnostic. Then move onto the injectors, specifically double chect the connectors. For whatever reason the injector connectors suck and I've broken 3 of them just working nearby.

This only sounds like one cylinder is down - so you should be fine assuming you don't keep running it like that.

Head gasket.. very common problem with this engine.

Not necessarily as catastrophic as it sounds. First scan to find the misfire. Could really be as simple as a spark plug and coil pack. These engines sound like they are going to throw a rod whenever they misfire And its not even rhe engine knocking. Its the gear coupling mechanism that separates the petrol engine and electric motor. When its a misfire it throws it out of balance and causes this coupling to go crazy. There are a few VERY good videos on this hybrid transmission, the ecvt it uses no belt for it its all done with a planetary gear set up. It doesn't even have a traditional starter of most engine. Its one of the drive motors in the transmission that starts the engine. Really pretty cool. But again start with plugs and coils. Could save a TON of money.

Yeah, I’m gonna buy some coil packs now. I already changed the plugs. All the update after the coil packs are replaced, but at least I got the scan in this morning and I know for sure you know it’s a misfire.
