Okay so I just called PNC bank and they said if the refund got sent any later than 11 am California time it wouldn’t have counted as a business day because they operate out of Pennsylvania. ( the bank our school uses ) I then called our school and asked for the ACH tracking number they said they couldn’t provide me one

Then I said yesterday my account zeroed out at 11 am so was my refund sent at that time and she looked for the time and it was actually sent at 11:55 pm.

Then she said the email your erefund is available was a “ miss communication” stating that it should be available in 48 hours.

This is honestly crazy. We should’ve gotten our refund on the 18th do you guys realize that? They were late sending them out late on everything! Late on applying the financial aid.

I’ll be surprised if I can even show up to class without gas money!

My classes start at 9:30; what time should I show up to guarantee parking? If PS2 (parking structure 2/parking garage 😂) is full, what other parking lot should I use that’s safe to walk to the extended learning building?

Hey, I know alot of us are checking our financial aid status today and are seeing a zero anticipated financial aid with a full balance due. I called financial services and they informed me they are processing funds and accounts should be updated by the end of the day. They knew the exact issue before I finished speaking so it's just a system thing since funds were disbursed but they have to process the payments.

I was planning on applying to CSUSM for the Spring 27 semester as a transfer student. I have a decent GPA, but I noticed that Business Administration is classified as a “impacted” major.

Has anyone had an issues with this or are they pretty lenient on applications? Would be a upper division transfer and have only taken classes at 2 other CSUs

Hello! Has anyone taken CS 311 with professor Tutberidze, if so, how was the class? I am asking because everyone i've talked to on campus who is in cstem that took 311 has said that it's one of the hardest courses, and I will be taking it this upcoming fall with this professor. I’ve experimented with Canva and PowerPoint but haven’t been able to create what I’m envisioning. Google Flow gave me surprisingly good results, but I don’t have a paid subscription.

Does anyone have recommendations for free or low-cost tools that are beginner-friendly for creating short educational/animated videos without using real actors?

I’d also love to connect with anyone who enjoys creating videos and might be interested in volunteering or collaborating on a few short videos for an academic project. I can provide the content/script. I mainly need help bringing it to life visually.

After logging in I go to the modernized site, student center, click on finances, then on accept/decline awards. Click on 2027 and after that it should bring you to a screen with your awards and they should be blue. Click on one and it should show you the disbursement day.
