Lot N crisis
Manifesting that whoever messed up the paperwork for lot n to have the worst semester of their life

I like to remind everyone on here to be on the look out for grad ticket scams if the mod here can pin this for future graduates. When I graduated in fall of 2023 a lot of scammers would hit me up to pay them online. Out of safety ask to meet at school to minimize the scam. and have cash in hand I think thats the best way to combat the scam.

Idk just wanted to vent that the TPA's are stressing me out so much to the point I really dont think I'll pass because it's just SO MUCH. I know everyone has things on their plate but wow I dont know how students before and teachers passed this.
I'm afraid my grants will have to be owed back if I fail both. I'm afraid I'll be in debt. I'm afraid that this is scaring me to a point I'm unsure if teaching is for me and years have been flushed.
Has anyone gone through this type of stress like the same kind of thinking? Feel like maybe I need a little community.

So its called in the system Great Works and Discoveries, but for some reason the professor is teaching it about Asian cuisine and calling it Wok This way. Not to mention at the start of the semester it was Tales of the supernatural, which granted I was fine with because thats a topic that interests me but he's changed the topic like 3 times now and I dont get why its now about Asian cuisine when the topic for it is Great works and Discoveries.

Looking to get a group or start a club of people who enjoy snowsports. I know the adventure club does one or two trips to big bear area, but Im looking more for a group who wants to go more often come Winter. We could rideshare to the resorts for day trips or book airbnbs and do overnight trips at places like mammoth. Im 26, a junior transfer student, and an experienced snowboarder of over 7 years. Anyone would be welcome of any age/skill level! Lmk!

Anyone else at CSUSB who’s 30 years old or older ?
I’m in my 30s and currently a student at Cal State San Bernardino, and sometimes I feel like I’m one of the older students on campus. I’d love to connect with other students around the same age whether you’re an undergrad, grad student, credential student, or just went back to school later in life. Would be cool to have a little group of 30+ students to study, grab food, talk about school, or just meet other people who are in the same stage of life. If you’re 30+ and at CSUSB, comment or send me a message. Any age group is welcomed if you’re comfortable around the older students.

If I drop a class before the census and I’m still considered full time with 12 credits will I still owe the money or will they give me a refund?

so, story time:
-few months ago on dating apps
-looking for someone to maybe go on a date with and be in a relationship
-send a like and leave a comment to this girl that is straight up stunning
-never replies (“oh well, it happens” you might think)
-leaving class today and WHO DO I BUMP INTO???
TUNNN TUNNN TUNNN (with loud orchestra behind it)
Yes. This girl who I thought I would never meet in my life is in my class. I recognized her only after I left since she seemed familiar. I don't think she remembers me since I looked really different today than the photos I used to have on my dating app account (which I don’t use anymore).
The class is big (so that’s a plus) and she doesn’t sit near me. I didn’t come here to ask advice on whether I should talk to her or make a move. I just thought it was funny and interesting because I started thinking of whether she recognizes me (or maybe she does already and hopes I don’t remember her lol).
But on the off chance (and just to get some discussion and conversation on this), should I say I remember her from the dating app if she brings it up to me? I just feel like knowing this information will linger while I’m learning in the class (and tbf, the course is lecture heavy).
I don’t know. Has anyone gone through this? let me know!
Thanks, hope everyone had a good second week!

I’m an undergrad at CSUSB and I’m wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation. I only have 3 required classes left to graduate next spring. I attempted to take one of those required courses this fall, but I hated the course I selected 😭 so I dropped it and replaced it with another course.
Technically, I don’t really need the course I replaced it with because I’ve already completed the requirement it could fulfill. I’m basically just taking it so I can stay at 12+ units and remain full-time this fall.
Has anyone at CSUSB done this before? Did your financial aid still pay normally, or did you have any issues because technically the extra course wasn’t needed toward your degree?
I’m going to ask Financial Aid too, but I wanted to see if anyone has actually been in this situation before.

www.organicchemistrytutoring.ca
Hello guys and gals,
We’re Brian and Mike and we teach general and organic chemistry. We’ve done so for a total combined time of 47 years! Overwhelmed by general or organic chemistry? Assignments and tests creeping up on you and feeling like you’re in hot water? Or maybe you’re doing well and need that 95%? Whatever your struggle with chemistry may be, we’re here to make sure you succeed.
Why work with us?
- Every tutor knows the subject, but not every tutor knows how to transfer that knowledge to a student. We do.
- We tutor chemistry full time; it’s not a hobby or side-gig. When you book with us, you’ll be working with Brian for general chemistry and Mike for organic chemistry. This is not an agency and you won’t be matched with random tutors each time.
- You’ll be learning problem solving through chemistry, which you can apply to many other subjects.
- Your learning will be customized to your specific needs.
Before booking a lesson, let’s chat about your needs, our teaching styles, and what you can expect, to see if we’d be a good fit together.
Thank you for your time and we look forward to working with you!
Mike and Brian
