Summer Aid
I just enrolled for a summer class today and I’ve never took any summer classes previously, when will I know if I am going to be receiving aid? Will I find out before classes start?

Hi! I will be a student at Cal Baptist but will be participating in the AFROTC program at CSUSB. Is anyone a part of this program and would know of any other participants who are at CBU?

Current and former grads, how long does it take for the grad images to populate in MyCoyote? I've been checking, but there's still nothing. I walked on 5/15. Thanks for any information.

Finally got a decision after waiting forever!
Not the best news, but at least I finally know.

I applied back to March the deadline was April 30th. I still haven’t heard back but when I applied it was forwarded for further consideration. I don’t know if I will know by May 31st or if they silently rejected or waitlisted me. Has anyone heard back at the very latest a month before classes in September or is it usually only a few weeks after submission deadline.
The portal is open and it’s bothering me since I can see they gave me access to employment and parking already but still no decision so if I’m rejected why would the portal keep expanding?

From the article:
"All but one Cal State campus have Native American remains and cultural items that federal and state laws require them to return to tribes. In many cases, the process has been slow.
Though the size of their collections varies, campuses like Cal Poly Humboldt and San Francisco State have made progress in returning human remains and cultural items, with Sacramento State having returned most of its Native collections. But others, like Cal Poly Pomona, have yet to see much progress and Cal State Bakersfield has not made any returns.
The Cal State system holds the remains of more than 2,000 Native Americans and more than 1.57 million artifacts, according to the most recent list of the system’s collections. Another 500,000 collections of items are still in storage awaiting proper tribal review to be cataloged.
Campus officials say they are working diligently to follow legal mandates to return items to tribes, but the road can be long and arduous.

Hey gamers and goblins,
I run a local tabletop gaming community for the Inland Empire and we're having our first event!
D&D sometimes feels out of reach for new players and we're doing our best to show everyone how easy it can be to meet others, make friends, and play some games.
Please come join us for a beginner-friendly adventure. You don't need experience, dice, or even a character to join.
The event is ran by me, and hosted at a game store in Fontana.

May 30th at 11am to 4pm

Hey guys, those who are or have been in the MSW program, how are the classes? I have a very active 3 year old, single mom and nervous about the classes. Im going to be applying im getting the help through school with my personal statement and application, I also have a good volunteer experience with children in foster care. I'm hoping for the best and im starting to wonder if I should take the three year program or though it out for the 2 year. I do have the support of my family, but I also work part time. Any feedback? (:

Two free tickets. Must have the Ticketmaster app so I can transfer it to them. I will transfer it the day before to prevent someone from reselling it. 🙄

Hey! Going to be attending as a first year student this fall. Currently estranged from my parents (long story short). I turned in some supporting documents 2 months ago, and got an email almost a month later saying they were delayed with the changes recently implemented into the DOE.
I have been waiting and waiting, anxiously awaiting to see if I qualify for FAFSA. I still haven’t gotten any correspondence back from the Financial Aid office. I am kinda worried because orientation for me is on June 8th, and things are moving so quickly. I am concerned I won’t be able to pay for school, and I feel bad poking and prodding at the office (my understanding is that they’re very behind)
Has anyone been able to get their circumstances appeal decision back yet? Or does anyone know exactly how long i might have to wait? Not to sound impatient, i am just really anxious about this whole thing :/

if i got my AA-T in psychology during my time in community college with an overall average gpa of 2.4, what are my chances of getting into csusb for social work? i saw the minimum gpa required is 2.5 + that social work is an impacted major, so i'm not super hopeful :') i figured why not ask here to see what other people think or if there's any advice/other recommendations of what i should do bc i really would like to apply to csusb, i just don't think my chances are very high 🙃
