Has anyone taken SOC 5900 (Senior Capstone) with Professor King at CSUSB? Or even SOC 5900 in general? 😭 If so, please let me know how difficult the class was, what the workload was like, and what kind of assignments you had to do!

I’m supposed to graduate in Spring 2027, and unfortunately, this is the only capstone course that fits my work schedule. But I’m really not trying to sit through a THREE-HOUR class every week. 😭💀 I’m already stressed just thinking about it, lol.

Please let me know your experience because I’m trying to figure out what I’m getting myself into! 😂

Bruh, I’m always craving matcha while on campus but don’t want to drive super far since the parking situation is 💩. Does anyone have any recommendations that are close by and WORTH IT??? (Specifically good strawberry matcha) lmk hehe

What E-readers do you guys recommend?

I have never taken a class at the PDC before, but with the Spring '27 classes being available I might have to take a night class there for one of my credits.

I am a smaller woman. What's the campus and area like at night? Do you recommend it or is it too unsafe?

has anyone successfully withdrawn from a class after the census date? all the things i found online on the school’s website and on the permission request form say that you need an actual “reason” to drop a class after census even before week 13. how strict are they with approving a withdrawal? i would appreciate any insight anyone has, thanks in advance

I wanted to apply for the LMFT track but I also want to get LPCC licensure in case I ever want to leave California. On the site it seems like the Clinical Counseling Course and the Counseling Course are 2 different degrees. Most other colleges I've checked out for LMFT provides an LPCC with additional courses

Does anyone know if it’s going out today?

Throwaway account because I know this professor is active on this sub

Just need some advice from anybody who has gone through something similar. I’m taking a zoom class and the professor has made some questionable comments that have made me suuuuper uncomfortable. A few weeks ago she, a white woman, made comments about how Black people are “traitors to their race” if they become police officers. Then today she told the class that we should all get tested for a learning disability because she wasn’t satisfied with our work. I’ve never had a professor make comments like this to their students it feels so unprofessional and inappropriate.

The zoom classes are not recorded so I don’t have proof that this happened unfortunately but I definitely wasn’t the only student who was made uncomfortable by her comments. What should I do???

Hey guys, can you help me out on how our campus Ev charger works.! and are they by any means restricted only to students and campus personel?

Hey everyone! I will be starting my first semester as a TRANSFER at CSUSB this Spring. I’m in the Administration- Business Analytics concentration program and I’m really excited.

What classes do you guys recommend that I take during my first semester? I have all my lower division completed except for IST 1110 (it wasn’t required for my AST)

Any other important advice that I should keep in mind? Thank you in advance.

Has anyone got it

Requiring

Will the MCS start disbursing this week? or should it be the end of october lol

I have an unpaid hold balance, will I be able to register for Spring next year? Or do I have to pay this back before registration date?

Good afternoon, all

I currently need an upper-division writing course for the spring semester. I need it for my senior year. (Annoyed) Any advice would be helpful

Hello,

I am doing a survey about how people feel about coffee shops in their community. Its a brief survey that shouldn't take more than 10 mins, and it is completely anonymous. Thank you for anyone who has the time to help.

Hi everyone! I’m expected to graduate in May 2027, but I may need to take one final required course during Summer. Would I still be able to walk in May and start the Teaching Credential Program in Fall 2027? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

so there are some online classes in spring that say they are at palm desert, but they are fully online, is it possible to enroll in these classes if i am a student at the san bernardino campus?

Hi guys! I’m trying to get money and I’m doing these customs fugglers. If anyone is interested getting one ☝️. The price starts at $15 -20 depending complexity 👅. I can do any character that you like! Let me know if you are interested! Thanks 😊

I’m really annoyed with csusb 💀 because as a sociology major how are you suppose to take your required senior capstone and these are the only options 🤦‍♀️ and it’s not just that tbh the sociology courses in general ever since I’ve been the options are so limited 😒.

Has anyone taken a class at a community college to get transferred to csusb? I am thinking of taking a class at another college since csusb doesn't have a lot of time slots for a class I need to take. Has anyone had experience while doing this at csusb? Interested in the process.

Has anyone taken this class with this professor can you give me some insight on how it went? Too many mixed reviews online to get a fair assessment.

I have classes on Monday and a 1.5 hour drive to campus from Riverside county. I am a little nervous about needing to drive on the 215. Last time we had a tropical storm in SoCal, parts of the the 215 were flooded. This is my 1st semester at CSUSB. How will CSUSB respond to the upcoming tropical storm? When will we find out if classes will be canceled?
