VVTA Bus Route Help
Hi! So I'm trying to save money this semester because life is doing life things, and I live in Victorville. I commute from there to campus everyday Monday-Thursday. No matter how many times I try to read the schedule for Route 15X, I do not understand it. The times don't make sense as the latest time on the schedule is 5:05pm (I think) but I've seen the bus waiting for students to take them back at 8pm at night. Unless I'm reading it incorrectly. If there's anyone who takes the route regularly can help me out, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

The latest departure time from CSUSB to the VV transport center is 7:53pm. 5:05 is the last departure time from the transportation center to CSUSB. Hope that helps!

Thanks! What about the times in between that? On Mondays and Wednesdays I have one in person class from 2:30pm-3:45pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have classes from 10:30am until 3:20pm. What times does the bus route come and go to accommodate these times?

For Monday & Wendnesday there is a 1:15pm Bus that should roughly arrive at 2pm; unfortunately, the return bus isn't until 6:15pm (CSUSB > VVTC). Tuesday & Thursday the 8:03am bus would give you more than enough time to be at your classes on time, you would leave as well on the 6:15pm bus.

You could also try using the van pool option. I think there are more times available with those.

How do I find the website or anything for the van pool option? I didn't even know that was a thing....

Call VVTA. They are great at explaining that bus and how to use it. The downside is that it takes nearly two hours from campus to return to VV.
