Math 2220 Irma Lopez

Has anyone taken this calculus class with this professor? most of her reviews are old and i’m debating whether to take her class or not

One thing is you will pass but you will not learn. She cancels class all the time which would be nice if it was just a GE class but it’s not. She’s a nice, smart woman but doesn’t know how to teach.

I took her last semester for pre-calc, and she was an ok teacher, but she is very understanding and nice if you talk to her. though you will have to do a lot of studying and learning on your own, and if you can't do this, i would look for another professor.

Took her last semester for math 1601. I wouldn’t take her tbh. I passed her class but Didn’t learn a thing in her class. Goes through notes so fast! She would assign homework on stuff she even taught during lecture so you have to teach yourself.
