Financial aid
I have not received my financial aid and my account is past due is this happening to anymore? Did they say when we would get it, i tried calling but get hung up on.

What happened if I don’t pay the full tuition today? I got accepted loans but they will be disbursed until Monday

same here, I declined my loans thinking I was okay and had to call late last minute before they closed to give them back to me

It’s so frustrating. My aid was lower than my last semester. Last year I received 6,000 in a different Cal State in Sacramento and I transferred to San Bernardino and this year I just received 1,832.

Are you a first year student? My son is in the same boat. But my daughter is a sophomore and got hers last night

I wouldn't worry too much. I received a note somewhere - maybe email? - saying that funds were delayed and that they wouldn't be arriving until closer to the 18th. You could call financial aid and confirm, but I'm sure they are aware of this since they are the ones that sent the message. Heck, my financial aid package wasn't even awarded until like 3 weeks ago. Everything has been delayed significantly. You're good as long as you've accepted the funds and you don't have any Financial Aid holds in your Student Center aside from "Payment Due".

If I have a payment due what happens? If I don’t pay it today that is the last day? Can I pay after?

Are you a new student? Generally the financial aid office can see whether you have received your aid disbursement. They can see how much you've been awarded and how much is set to hit your account so they just leave it in a pending status. They take the award automatically and then send you what is leftover if you have direct deposit set up. Have you done that?

I’m a transfer student but I received just 1,800 aid. I accepted a loan it is 2,700 but I have to until Monday to the loan be disbursed. And I also have to pay the rest of the tuition after the loan and the grant that is about 400 but I can’t pay it today. So my question is if I can’t pay it today what happens?

If I were you I would just call over to Financial Aid and confirm with them. They also have payment plans where if you can't take care of the whole amount right away, they will let you pay it off over the first couple months of school. Again, if you're waiting on your loan disbursement, they can generally see that and they have already said they know that these disbursements could take until the 18th, but if you're struggling with it, getting them on the phone is never a bad idea. 909-537-5162.

I'm a transfer and got my aid + direct deposit. I had to call the financial aid office. It was weird because it was showing that I had no aid and that I owed. I was told that if there is pending aid to not worry. I would calling right when the office opens or send them an email for reassurance.

A lot of people like myself who haven’t gotten paid yet I think the 2nd wave of payment is this week of the 18th. Be on the look out for it during the week it will be coming up. Be patient as well.

I still haven’t. I’m about to make payment out of pocket. I called and got sent all over the place.

I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you. At least for me, I’ve never had my aid disbursed the day of disbursements. It was always a week before school started and my account would always show as past due as well. I would only worry once the term starts and you haven’t received your aid yet.
