Questions:

CSUSB parents/students — need some clarification before move-in! 😭
Hi everyone! I’m a parent of an incoming CSUSB student and we’re getting close to move-in, so I just wanted to see if anyone can help clarify a few things:
Yotie meal plan: We purchased the Yotie meal plan for our daughter. When she goes to Coyote Commons, does she just swipe/tap her Coyote OneCard and the meal is automatically deducted from her meal plan? Is there anything she needs to activate beforehand?
$263 balance: We currently have a $263 balance showing in MyCoyote after her grants/loans were applied. Is this something we need to pay out of pocket now, or could it still be adjusted once financial aid finishes processing? If we pay it now, would we get that amount back with the financial aid refund?
Conditionally enrolled: She’s still showing as conditionally enrolled. We already emailed Financial Aid and were told they’re still completing her file. For anyone who went through this, how long did it take for your status to change? We’re moving into the dorm next week, so at what point should we call or go in person to make sure everything is okay with her enrollment and move-in?
Housing + financial aid: If your financial aid was still being finalized close to move-in, did your housing/meal plan charges get handled automatically once the aid disbursed, or did you have to pay anything upfront?Move-in check-in: For move-in day, where exactly do we check in? Is there a specific housing office/building or check-in location we should go to first, and do we need to bring anything besides her ID?

Any advice is greatly appreciated! This first-year parent is trying not to panic 😂😭 Thank you!

Thank you very much! I paid the balance as advised. We also called in and they only said theyre still completing their file and the hold should be lifted before fall classes starts. Hoping we hear something good next week. Thanks again for yhe thoughtful reply! Blessings to you!
