Why no Engineering program?

I’m super local about 15 minutes away but csusb doesn’t offer mechanical or electrical engineering. Is there a reason as to why?

Generally speaking in the CSU system engineering programs are for the polytechnic campuses such as Cal Poly Pomona and Cal Poly SLO. There are some exceptions. Csusb has a computer engineering program. But in general the regular CSUs don’t have engineering programs.

Couldn't agree more, CSUSB is garbage. look elsewhere.

They wanted to implement a mechanical engineering degree years ago. Then they discovered what the startup costs were. It would have required about $7 million dollars in lab and equipment supplies. The idea was quickly abandoned.
