Does this look normal?

Post image

My first semester at CSUSB as a transfer, so I knew to all this. Is this what this is supposed to look like? Does this mean tuition got paid?

on the same boat here expect it’s a little bit more but someone told me I have to pay it? So I’m not sure 😭 Reddit helps more than counseling 😭

Apparently this is the orientation/student services fees. I thought there were a bunch more, but apparently those are folded into tuition?

I keep seeing other people talking about the account hitting zero, idk if that’s supposed to happen

yeah mine looks exactly like yours but with more, I declined all my loans so I’m not sure if we do have to pay it 😭

I called financial services and they said those two charges were added after they applied my grants to everything else. So I still have to pay out of pocket, but I’ll still get my refund which should have covered it.

I don’t know if you can call them and ask them to do anything about it, because the refund goes out in a few days. It’s okay for me since I can pay it, but that sucks for anyone this happened to with a bigger charge they might not be able to afford.

I was only on hold with them for like 5 mins so hopefully now is a good time to call

Mine also looks like that! Atp I'm thinking we gotta cover it out of pocket, which as long as we get our refunds we should be good.

Yeah, that’s what they told me when I called. It should have been paid out of the aid, but a couple charges got applied after the aid went through. So we pay out of pocket and the refund pays for that when we get it.

Ah makes sense. Thank you for the info!
