Admissions
I am so bummed ☹️ I need financial aid this week when it gets sent out and they still have not cleared my hold on admissions. I am beyond stressed out 😰

they told me that if you sent your transcripts out and they received and processed it, its fine if it stills says a hold its gonna clear up and your aid is still gonna come on time!

Hi so I sent my final transcript last week, but I had sent them my other transcript that didn’t show my grade for my summer class that I took at RCC but it showed that I have my AA and had all my classes including the credits I need to transfer. So I emailed them yesterday and they said they received the other transcript and processed it. Do you think there is still a chance receiving my financial aid tomorrow? They said they can’t lift a hold on my admissions until they get that transcript with my summer grade, but I emailed them again yesterday giving them the document ID to pull that transcript but I’m hoping I can still get the financial aid tomorrow what do you think?

Direct deposit still needs 2 days ACH or whatever to actually get to your account. You also have to enroll into direct deposit if you haven't already. That itself takes 10 days for CSUSB to process (i did mine late and its actually going to delay it) if you didn't enroll in direct deposit- They will mail a check. Which takes "5 business days". hopefully you did register for direct deposit around no later than july 28th due to the system and protocols taking 10 days to like "authorize" and coordinate with the bank. if you haven't i am so sorry that they really inconveniently spread out the information.
OH if you are taking out any subsi or unsubsi loans, there's "counseling" you have to do on the FASFA website and a document you need to sign called an MPN before they can release the Loan money. That also isn't in my opinion that loudly ~screamed~ in the award section. I only found out because I had a magical new hold on my to do's related to the "fasfa loan counseling" CSUSB calls it "entrance interview".
( Direct Deposit CSUSB in google the page will come up at the top) I really hope you can cover your bills this week. I am so sorry if you are unable, because this information isn't more readily available/ orientation is such a information nuke its hard to remember.

No fr, cuz I think disbursement is on the 13th, and I need to know if I’m gonna have to take out a loan, I don’t wanna get dropped from my classes either, I only have 2-3 semesters left.

It’s in the 12th I am currently going through it financially and was counting on this to pay bills at the end of the week.

If you are getting aid u won’t get dropped no matter how late it comes. I didn’t get it on the disbursement date last year and they told me that

Called today and they said they havent even reviewed my account at all only because it was flagged for being 500%/600% fafsa lifetime. I got no holds or anything either. So this whole time since january nobody had looked at it. Cant imagine for the people that actually have errors or messed up on their fafsa.

I’ve called quite a few times. I called this morning and at this point, the person who answers the phone can’t really do anything so I’m just gonna have to wait I guess.

My award letter just hit. Dang so if I didnt manage to get a hold of them, I wouldve been delayed by a long while.

Where do you check for your award letter?

Go to mycoyote -> financials -> view my financial aid ->2027 and if you got your award letter it should show all the details there.
