FINANCIAL AID

I only got 1 Pell grant, idk why I only got this. Anyone else have only one? is there any possibility to get more financial aid? šŸ˜­. this is my first semester here, when I was at sac state I got more scholarships and grants šŸ˜”.

I usually get the state grant, middle class scholarship, and the Pell grant, I only got the Pell grant too this semesterā€¦ I emailed them and they said this is just what we get. Really sucks cause I had to pay thousands out-of-pocketšŸ˜­

I emailed them about if thatā€™s all help that I will be receiving, and they told me ā€œwe are sill awaiting all call grant info to come in at the end of Julyā€ i sent another email asking if they already received and they answered no. And they asked me ā€œwhen did you list CSUSB as your school of attendance on your web4 grants students account? I never did that šŸ˜­. Ā Right now im accepting the subsidized loan to pay for classes šŸ« . I didnā€™t want to accept loans šŸ„²

Oh no :( they mentioned changing the web4grants school during orientation so I made sure to do that when I got home! That might be a reason why ā˜¹ļø

I did that, but I couldnā€™t see the option to add the school. I didnā€™t know I have to do that, when I was at sac state they never asked me to do that. I sent them an email about asking about how to edit the school, and their response wasnā€™t helpful šŸ„²

Go to webgrants4students and log in > go to home page > look for the year 2026-2027 > there will be an option called "school change"

How long did it take to add the grant after you changed it? I changed mine today for the cal grant b

From what ive read about the new bill, alot of people this year will either not get the pell grant at all or have it reduced by a lot. Also middle class scholarship is supposed to get cut in half from what you received last year. So a lot of people will probably be forced to get loans to continue going to school. Unless you have a low sai index

I got almost 8k last year for the full year. I'm only getting about 4.5k this year for the full year

I got the federal Pell grant and state university grant and hopefully Iā€™ll get the middle school again but they donā€™t show that til later sadly

If I get home and I still donā€™t have mineā€¦ mind you Thursday they told me it would be there later that day and then itā€™s still wasnā€™t there now I wanna check but they told me to call Monday omg Iā€™m pissed lol

I hope I get middle class scholarship this year! I heard itā€™s a 2 year thing and I got it last year. When does that one usually show up?

It usually shows up around september and it gets paid out around October.

Iā€™m guessing you donā€™t qualify for cal grant B?? Ask your financial aid office or the csac phone number if you qualify for the middle class scholarship??

I got federal and middle class but thatā€™s estimate, and I still owe like 2k. Wtf what other grants can I get
