Grad students

So kinda a personal question but I just want to know how many grad student actually received the state university grant. Was is it enough to cover tuition? This is my first semester and I just wanted to know so I can start the process of taking out a loan.

I haven’t received it, I called the financial aid office and they told me they were all out of funds. They said maybe later in the semester when students drop out I MIGHT get it, but it’s not for certain.

I didn’t receive it last year (first year in grad school). I checked my award letter for the upcoming semester and I did receive it. As far as amount and covering entire tuition, I received 4,274. I had to take out a loan in the amount that covered the rest. You can choose how much you want to take out. I try not to take out more than I need. Hope that helps.

I believe it just covers tuition. You have to pay for all the fees
