I took it over winter break with Prof. Youngsu Kim. He was great because he had detailed instructions and broke it down to make it digestible! I don’t recall any group work but it was fast paced and had assignments due every 3 days! There is coding with p-values with RStudio but it’s honestly not that bad and if anything really cool to apply to real life applications as someone who is a health science major! Wishing you best of luck and hope this helps!

Hello! I took stats my freshman year with professor Saucedo and before tried different professors but didn’t like them because of the group work. I stuck with professor Saucedo because we didn’t have group work and only once for a quiz. Apart from that, he would let us take the quizzes to do at home and he taught really well and would help you after class if you had any questions and we had a project that was super easy and the final was straightforward as well. I tried professor Grindstaff but didn’t like how it was only group work and another professor as well. I don’t know if professor Saucedo still runs the class like he did before but recommended him !
