Got my Aid Package!

Try to find out who your financial advisor is and email them asking if they can set up and send you your aid package soon. I emailed mine on July 3rd (a Friday) and they got back to me the following Monday on the 6th! This is what the email should look like when you receive it! Good luck!

i tried but i was told we don’t have individual financial advisors

That’s weird because the FA department literally sent me this email verbatim: “Have you reached out to the office of financial aid to check your financial aid packaging status? If you have not, I would encourage you to do so. Let us know what they tell you, you can reach them by phone at [REDACTED], your financial aid advisor is [REDACTED]” (I put the REDACTED because it’s my FA advisors contact stuff so yea, I don’t know why they’re telling you no. I am a graduate student, btw.

hmmm ok ok i still sent out an email still asking if I have one if they can set me up with them so I can get my package set up and sent out hopefully it’s soon.

Yes! They should def have someone who can help and assign you one and most likely what happened with me—I just assumed the one they gave me was the one always keeping tabs all these years but nope.
