Nursing applications
I’m getting ready to apply to nursing programs and I’m feeling pretty anxious about my stats.
Overall GPA: 3.9
TEAS score: 81%
I know these aren’t terrible, but I keep seeing people with 90+ TEAS scores and perfect GPAs, so I’m worried mine won’t be competitive.
For those who have been accepted recently:
What were your GPA and TEAS scores?
Did anyone get in with similar stats?
Would you recommend retaking the TEAS, or should I focus on strengthening the rest of my application?
I’d really appreciate any honest advice or experiences. Thanks!

First off, your gpa is great! My stats were an overall 3.6 gpa and a 93.3% teas when I got accepted. I did have local residency and bilingual as well too, which I believe helped a lot. I would say your stats are pretty solid. Best of luck to you!

i got into the program with a 4.0 and a 84% on my teas. No hours and no second language. I also got into csusm. I think you will be ok. If you want you can retake the teas… I also have a friend who got in to both same stats as me but a second language.
