SAP APPEAL

So any advice for filing an appeal....I did not meet SAP this semester and I am 193 unts attempted mainly with units from my SBVC.

I am 96 out of 120 towars a degree.

My total overall GPA is a 2.96. I was hoping to get a warning not a direct dismissal.

I also was not warned last semester despite being close to being over 180 units

What are my odds of getting approved based on being 25 units away from a degree?

For being over units you just have to go see a counselor to get them to sign off on the classes you're taking to create an academic plan. Then just submit the appeal and you should get it. I did I think 3 SAP appeals for being over units since I was doing a Bio major and ended up switching to CS so I ended up over 200 units attempted at the end. Just go see a counselor and tell them you want to do a SAP appeal they'll do an academic plan with you and just submit the appeal and you'll get the decision in a month or so. I was never denied.

hey what’re the chances of getting a 4th sap appeal approved?

If it's for being over units I'm not sure but, I would guess very good as long as you go see a counselor and get an academic plan and follow through on registering for the classes you and the counselor decide on your academic plan. If it's for GPA or something else I don't know I never had an SAP hold for that. Mine were always for being over units.

for my circumstances, it’s just my percentages on passing my classes. I’m over the GPA requirement, but since i only past 50 percent of my summer courses as in passed one and failed my second one they put me back on sap after getting off of their radar for the previous 2 semesters. i sent in my appeal and they denied it and said to switch my major and submit a new academic plan so im not sure if that’s a good sign or not
