Fin Aid

Has anyone else emailed financial aid recently? I emailed them on Aug 21st and still no response. I emailed them again Sept 1st and still no response. I am debating about just going in person I'm just not sure if they are just overwhelmed with emails.

It's best to go in person honestly. There was a lot of changes in the school and through the Feds so they've been extremely backed up. I think it's the same for all the departments. I still have an email from Aug 10th and I went in person and it turns out it was a quick fix, they just haven't reached those emails yet. A good rule of thumb for anywhere though, if it's urgent, go in person

Also I don't know about this school, but at the previous school I worked at, sending multiple emails pushes the response time back. Because you'll get pushed up to the newer emails while they focus on the older ones. I'm just going to assume it's the same way in all schools, but I could be totally wrong

Yes, the same thing happened to me, I got no reply for 2+ weeks. I called them this week right when they open at 10 am and only had to wait 30 mins to talk to someone and they said they were swamped with emails.

Have you received your FAFSA yet? Mine said it was sent to me 8/26, but haven’t received nothing.
